From 05/16/2009 to 20/05/2009 Tours - XXII International Festival of Classical Ballet by Rudolf Nureyev, to be held in Kazan from 11 to 22 May.
The ballet "Le Corsaire" - Medora
At the international festival of classical ballet, which takes place in these days on the stage Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M. Jalil, it was the turn of Romantic ballet, Adan "Le Corsaire". In the festival, "Le Corsaire" main parties performed by the soloists of the National Opera of Ukraine Natalia Matsak (Medora) and Sergei Sidorsky (Conrad). Exquisitely charming and coquettish was Medora - Matsak in a scene with Seid Pasha, dramatic - in a scene in the grotto. Conrad - Sidorsky was expressive in the scene with the corsairs in the grotto, cool, when shot a traitor to lyrical duets with Medora.
